Know the Law
(This is a  classroom presentation and does not include handling any firearms.)

Registered students  receive a complimentary copy of the USCCA book Should I Shoot? (list price $30) as part of the class. Completion of this course also qualifies as module 4 of the USCCA course
Concealed Carry & Home Defense Fundamentals.

The class begins with information applicable in all states, the USCCA course The Legal Use of Force, then adds Arkansas-specific content. The class includes information from additional authoritative sources, and specific information on self defense law in Arkansas.

When you survive a self defense encounter, legal issues will start immediately, and may continue for days, months, or years. Costs can be very high, both financially and emotionally. Knowing how self defense law works ahead of time can get you ready to make key decisions from the beginning, and how to deal with police, investigators, and lawyers to navigate the process. Your instructors are Craig Shelton, graduate of the Law of Self Defense Instructor Program, and NRA, USCCA, and Ark State Police CHCL Instructor(#21-1519); and GunSTAR owner & Chief Instructor Paula Ardans, USCCA, NRA and Ark State Police CERTIFIED FIREARMS INSTRUCTOR (#21-1499), and USCCA Training Counselor (instructor trainer).
